Game Changer is an upcoming Indian-Telugu language political-action drama film all set to release on 10th January 2025. The movie is directed by S. Shankar and produced by Zee Studios and Sri Venkateswara Creations.
The movie stars Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali, and S.J Suryah in the main lead roles. In 2021, Shankar and Ram Charan’s first collaboration movie was announced and started the shooting under the working title of RC 15, because it’s Ram Charan’s 15th movie as a lead actor.
In the beginning, the movie production cost was ₹250 crore (US$30 million). However, In July 2024, the budget has increased ₹250 crore to ₹400 crore.

Game Changer Movie Budget
This is the first time Ram Charan and Shankar are collaborating on a pan-Indian film. The first planned budget of the movie was ₹250 crore but things changed after the success of RRR. Because RAM Charan hiked his fees the budget was increased.
Now the Game Movie Budget is ₹400 crore which includes all the cast fees and advertisement costs.
Why has Game Changer Movie Bugdet Increased?
The movie was originally planned on a budget of Rs 250 Crore but was increased due to 40 Crores Splurged On Two Songs. Also, Ram Charan hiked his fees for the movie, after RRR’s success at the box office.
As per the information, one of the biggest reasons is Director Shankar changed the entire crew without informing the producer Dil Raju, and another 45 days were planned but canceled at the moment. At that time, the makers had no options but to pay the wages with the location charge and other extra charges.
Ram Charan was busy with other work commitments which led to more delays in production. A Huge set was also washed out by rain, owned by Dil Raju. Later makers reconstruct the set and pay extra money.

Reportedly Ram Charan charged around Rs 100 Crore for his role in Game Changer. It’s 22% of the total budget, In the last film of Ram Charan, he charged only Rs 45 Crore in the RRR movie.
After RRR’s success, Charan’s hiked his fees, which is also the reason behind the high-budget movie.
